Cherry Tree Cottage fairy house pincushion

Every pincushion tells a story.
Dotted through the Enchanted Forest are fairy homes like this. They are cozy homes crafted with care in a variety of trees. The Enchanted Forest has all manor of trees, ancient oaks and towering beech. Whispering pines and delicate willows. Each has its preferred place in the forest and around the margins are lots of flowering trees, such as this one, a wild cherry tree. It might even be the one that Benedict Bird has his nest in. The cherry tree is ringed with red and white mushrooms and the door is sheltered by a leafy plant. The bluebells that fill the banks in the Spring are just beginning to bloom. The fairy who lives here is very private and quiet, preferring the company of the smallest forest creatures to others of her kind. She likes to sit up in the tree, obscured from view by the blossom but able to see across the river towards the village of Wits End. This pincushion has a fairy house with lots of pretty cherry blossom flowers. Each one is individually cut by hand and carefully stitched in place. The side is rose pink with more blossom. The underside is light yellow green.

This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall. It is entirely hand stitched from 100% wool felt and stuffed with premium ultra plush polyester fill.
