Pumpkin Cottage Pincushion
Every pincushion tells a story.
The little village of Wits End is full of cottages like this one. Built of local stone they are warm and cozy in Winter and cool in Summer. In Autumn, there are pumpkins on every doorstep and ravens gather on the rooftops, drawn away from the Enchanted Forest by the tantalizing smells of Autumn baking and woodsmoke. Bramble, a senior raven rests on this rooftop. enjoying the feel of the breeze ruffling his feathers. This pincushion has a grey top, the shade of a stormy Autumnal sky. The little stone cottage nestles between trees in all their Autumn glory. There are pumpkins and flowers and tiny fallen leaves blowing around. The side of the pincushion is dark blue with three more pumpkins. The underside is green.
All the little felt shapes are individually cut by hand and carefully stitched in place.
This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall.
