Storybook Dragon Pincushion
Every pincushion tells a story.
Here there most definitely be dragons! This is a sweet purple storybook dragon, harmless while this size but he will outgrow this book quickly and need to spread his wings! I've used some really sparkly purple threads to bring him to life. I'm pretty sure he's about to eat the floral bookmark someone has thoughtfully left. The side of this design is light tan, the tone of an old parchment map and on it is embroidered with middle earth style lettering, "here there be dragons".
This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall. It is entirely hand stitched from 100% wool felt and stuffed with premium ultra plush polyester fill. Each small felt shape, the dragon parts and flowers are individually cut by hand and carefully stitched in place.
