Fern's Greenhouse pincushion

Wits End is my imaginary little village deep in the English countryside. Beyond the village are the Enchanted forest and Blue Mountains. In Wits End, the line between human and magical realms is blurred and life is the richer for it.

This is Fern's greenhouse. It's a lovely old greenhouse behind Amelia Willow's hat shop. Here you'll find, not only a selection of flowers and fruit, but also Fern's workshop. Fern is a forest fairy making hats for the magical inhabitants of the Enchanted Forest because everyone deserves a beautiful hat. Dark teal felt represents the glass of the greenhouse and there are lots of embroidered and appliquéd plants. There is even a little black cat with bright green eyes, named Sooty.

This little cottage measures approximately 3 inches by 2 inches and stands 2.5 inches tall. I've added a piece of sturdy stabilizer to the base of the greenhouse to keep it stable. Each little felt shape is individually cut by hand and then carefully stitched in place. All felt used is 100% wool and my pincushions are stuffed with premium ultra plush polyester stuffing.
