The Castle Window pincushion
Every pincushion tells a story.
On the far side of the Enchanted Forest, with its towers just visible above the ancient trees, stands a stone castle. The castle is home to a family with three daughters named Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. The castle is full of life and books. This particular window has some leather tomes and an old terracotta pot planted with daffodils and hyacinths, signaling the coming of Spring to the foothills. Fresh ivy tendrils cling to the warm stone walls and it is almost warm enough to read in the library with a window open. On the side of this pincushion there are lots more books and a blue and white bowl filled with pink blossom. The underside is dark cranberry red. Each little book, flower and leaf is individually cut by hand and carefully stitched in place.
This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall. It is entirely hand stitched from 100% wool felt and stuffed with premium ultra plush polyester fill.
