Blackberry Cottage In The Enchanted Forest

Every pincushion tells a story.

The Enchanted Forest keeps many homes and their occupants safe, concealed in the shadows and hidden in areas of densely growing ancient trees with limbs that reach to the ground as well as towards the sky. One such home is Bramble Cottage. The owner of this cottage is famous throughout the Forest for her blackberry preserves and baked goods. Interestingly the wild blackberries around her cottage are only sweet if picked by her. Others have tried to gather from there but find the berries mouth puckeringly sour. Bramble cottage is very well concealed with late season wild roses growing up around one side of the door and a tree with low branches on the other side. If traversing the Forest, you might see the cheerful pumpkins before seeing the little door!

The background of this pincushion is dark forest green. There is a fairy cottage door with lots of plants and some wild blackberry brambles. Red and white mushrooms thrive next to the door and moss grows between the stepping stones. The side of this pincushion is also green and has a glowing window with another mushroom and lots of Autumn foliage. The underside is light pink. Each tiny felt shape is individually cut by hand and carefully stitched in place.

This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall. It is stuffed with premium polyester fill.
