Fern's Autumn Cottage

Every pincushion tells a story.

Fern"s cozy little cottage in the Enchanted Forest has a living roof which means that her cottage looks completely different according to the season. At the moment, it is richly hued, fading from greens to brown to gold. It looks like Fern is hone with her fireplace stoked and candles lit as there is a warm glow at the window. Outside the cottage are some red and white mushrooms which Fern uses to balance herself while she puts on her rain boots before going foraging in the Forest. The background of this pincushion is dark blue, like the midnight sky and the dark color makes all the other colors stand out. The side is green with a flurry of different Autumn leaves. The underside is dark brown. Each tiny leaf and flower is individually cut by hand and then carefully stitched in place.

This pincushion measures 3.5 inches in diameter and stands approximately 2.25inches tall. It is stuffed with premium polyester fill and I've used 100% wool felt.
